Provisional Notes | Year of death supposition (died after Riccoboni). Letter Riccoboni to Garrick 17-3-1769 (Nicholls, 144): [..] Sans mon amie j'irois me pendre pour ne plus m'ennuier." cf. James C. Nicholls, Introduction Letters Mme Riccoboni: "Impoverished and forgotten, she [Mme Riccoboni] died on Friday, 6 January 1792, amidst civil strife and political upheaval. The following Sunday she was buried in the parish church of Saint-Eustache, where she had been baptized and married. She had no relatives and most of her friends had passed away. Only the faithful Thérèse remained. It was to her that mme Riccoboni willed all her worldly goods: a small income, her library and papers, and a few meagre possessions" (p. 23-24).
