Date of birth unsure. Jonckbloet in DBNL says in Geschiedenis der Nederlandsche Letterkunde, 17e eeuw 1, VII p.114 in a note:

"In 1617 gaf hij [ Theodoor Rodenburgh] een ‘treur-b'y-eynde-spel’ in het licht, onder den titel: Anna Rodenburghs Trouwen Batavier. Dit heeft iemand, die niet verder dan dezen titel las, in van der Aa's Biografisch Woordenboek, bl. 122, doen zeggen, dat die Anna eene ‘dichteres uit de eerste helft der zeventiende eeuw’ was. Met hoeveel zorg dat artikel geschreven is, blijkt, als wij daar verder lezen, dat onze dichter ‘een tal van tooneelspelen vervaardigde, die te Amsterdam Op de Akademie van Koster vertoond werden."
