Hedvig von Numers was Swedish but had Finnish extraction and wanted to meet her Finnish family as a young woman. In Finland she met her husband to be and stayed in Finland. Von Numers got appreciation as a writer which was unusual for a woman. Her career ended quickly when she died in tuberculosis when only 33 years old. Jwapr14
