Mimmi Bergh was the daughter of Julius Immanuel Bergh, a pedagog and priest. Mimmi Berg worked as a teacher and underlined that girls should learn to think, too. She wrote emansiphatoric literature. Bergh was also one of the founders of the deaconesess’ institution in Oulu. One of her spheres of influence was the jail, where she worked as a teacher. Jwapr14
