She married in 1845 Johannes Scherr (who translated in German many of the works of George Sand). In 1845 she travelled with him to Stuttgart. Since 1849 she lived in Switzerland (1852-60 in Winterthur and from 1860 in Zürich).

- Kübler lernte in Yverdon Englisch, Französisch und Italienisch. Kübler war als Übersetzerin und Sprachlehrerin tätig. Sie veröffentlichte Ratgeber für Hausfrauen und Mütter, so "Das Hauswesen" (1850, mehrfach aufgelegt), "Der Frauenspiegel" (1854), "Die Hausmutter" (1857), "Die geschickte Köchin" (1858) und "Das Buch der Mütter" (1867), ferner ein Buch für Dienstmädchen "Vreneli's Dienstjahre" (1860) sowie Erzählungen für Kinder und Jugendliche, u.a. "Winterrosen in einem Kranze" (1851) und "Mährchen und Geschichtenbuch der Fee Chrysalinde" (1857).
