Lyydi Stenbäck was a member of the famous Stenbäck family: her parents were provost Karl Fredrick Stenbäck and Emilia Ottilia von Essen. Many of her 11 siblings became influential persons, many of them teachers (for example Ottilia Stenbäck). Lyydi Stenbäck studied and worked as a teacher in Germany. Later she was a proclaimer for Free Church. She drowned herself 1894. JWapr14
