tbjun14 - unterrichtete Deklamation als erste weibliche Lehrkraft im Bereich Schauspiel von 1895 bis 1912 am Konservatorium. Dabei hatte es Unterricht in Deklamation im Bereich Schauspiel seit 1874 gegeben. Eugenie Petras-Wohlgemuth hatte zunächst eine Karriere als Schauspielerin angestrebt, musste sich jedoch nach einer Erkrankung beruflich neu orientieren. Sie begann zu schreiben, verzeichnete bei ihren Lesungen große Erfolge und gründete eine Vortragsschule.
