Provisional Notes Talvj wrote about Roswitha in her bio-bibliographical compilation TGWW> we do not know anything about her family or education. She herself writes her name Hrotsvith and calls herself "the strong voice or loud call from Gandersheim" (clamor validus Gandeshemensis). Writes about herself in her short introductions to her poems. The scholar Konrad Celtes found her manuscript at the End of 15th Century. Till then, nobody knew about Roswitha. - TO BE CONTINUED SHOULD BE COMPARED WITH WHAT WE KNOW TODAY. jujo oct 10 NOT MENTIONED IN: - Buck, Guide to women’s literature, 1992
